⒈May I/we…?我/我们可以……吗？(Yes,you may./No,you may not.)

⒎from…to…从……到……（注：其间可以跟时间、地点、数字等） I can count from 1 to 10 in English.我能用英语从一数到十。 We go to school from Monday to Friday.我们周一到周五上学。 It’s about 278 kilometres from Shijiazhuang to Beijng. ⒏too many 太多（后跟复数名词）；too much太多（后跟不可数名词） There are too many students in our school. We have too much homework today. ⒐be busy with sth 忙于某事 be busy doing sth 忙于做某事 I’m busy with my homework. I’m busy doing my homework.

⒈want (sb )to do sth 想要某人做某事
I want you to help me with my English.我想让你帮我学英语。 ⒉invite sb to sp 邀请某人去某处
Can you invite me to your home?你能邀请我去你家吗？ ⒊invite sb to do sth 邀请某人做某事
Li Ming invites Danny to eat donuts.李明邀请丹尼吃面包圈。 ⒋Thanks for inviting me.=Thanks for your invitation. ⒌talk to/with sb 与某人交流/谈
Li Ming is talking to /with Danny on the phone.
⒍leave for 前往，动身去（后跟目的地）leave A for B 离开A地去B地 When do you leave Beijing for Shanghai? 你什么时候离开北京去上海？ ⒎arrive in/at sp到达（注：in后跟大地方,at后跟小地方）
arrive in/at = get to = reach 注：当接home , here, there时省略in , at , to Don’t forget to call me when you arrive in/get to/reach Beijing. 别忘了到北京时给我打电话
⒏电话用语：May I please speak to/with sb? 我可以和某人说话吗？
This is…(speaking).我是……不能说成I am…
Who’s that? 你是谁？不能说成Who are you?
Lesson 3
1. be in = be at home 在家
Is Mrs Smith in? No, she isn’t at home.
2. think about 考虑，思考 What are you thinking about? 3. worry(v) ---worried(adj)担心的，焦急的 Don’t worry. = Don’t be worried 别担心
Why are you so worried(adj)? 你为什么如此的焦虑？ 4. worry about sb./sth=be worried about sb/sth.
She is always(总是) worried about her lessons. 她总是担心她的功课。 5. practice doing sth 练习做某事
We should(应该)practice reading English every morning..
6. laugh at sb. 嘲笑某人 Don’t laugh at me. 7.具体数词+hundred/thousand+n(pl)
hundreds/thousands of +n(pl) 数百/千的 Our school has over five thousand students.

1.He goes to school on foot. =He walks to school.
2.I go to school by bike. =I go to school on my bike. =I ride (my bike )to school. 3. I go to school by bus. =I go to school on a bus. =I take a bus to school. 4. My father goes to work in his car. =My father drives to work. 5.I go to Beijing by plane. =I go to Beijing on a plane.. I take a plane to Beijing. =I fly to Beijing.
6 .A train is slower than a plane but faster than a bus!这是 一个形容词比较级的句型，用于两者之间的比较。than 意为比。
形容词比较级构成：1单音节词尾加er,如：cheaper, slower
2多音节词前加more如：more beautiful, more expensive.
7.fast(adj; adv) fast---faster A plane is fast. The boy runs fast. 8.slow(adj)---slowly(adv) slowly---more slowly
The clock is slow. Jim runs more slowly than Li Ming. Lesson 5
1. stay with sb.for some time 和某人呆在一起一段时间 They stay with Li Ming’s family for two days. How long do they stay with Li Ming’s family?
2. make a plan for 为…做计划 He made a plan for his study last night.
3. make sb. do sth.使某人做某事 Her story made us laugh.她的故事让我们发笑。 3. plan to do sth. 计划做某事 We plan to go on a trip to Hainan this year. 4. What do you think of…/ How do you like…？ 你认为…怎么样？ 5. need to do sth. 需要做某事 I don’t need to clean the blackboard.. 6. write home 给家人写信 I write home every week. write to sb. 给某人写信 I often write to my friend.
7. tell sb. about sth. 告诉某人关于某事 Let me tell you something about my family. 8. many interesting places 许多的名胜

1. pack … with … 用…. 装满… I pack my schoolbag with my books. 2.How many+名词复数…? “多少……?”

Aunt Wang is a forgetful woman. because she often forgets things. 4. forget to do sth. 忘记要做某事 forget doing sth 忘记做过某事

funny (adj) 滑稽的，可笑的 That’s a funny story(故事)/joke(笑话). fun(adj)=interesting 有意思的 I think English is fun and easy. 9. cost(v) 花费 --- (过去式) cost cost too much花费太多的钱 Sth. cost(过去式) sb. some money. 某物花费了某人……钱 The jacket cost me three hundred yuan. 10. ask sb. for sth. 向某人要某物
The boy often asks his parents for money.
If(如果) you are lost,you can ask a policeman for help. 11.ask sb.(not) to do sth. 叫某人（别）做某事 tell sb. (not) to do sth.
Ms. Li tells/asks us to ride slowly. 李老师叫我们慢点骑车。 My mother tells/asks me not to play computer games. 12.wait for sb./sth/ I’m waiting for the train. can’t wait to do sth.迫不及待的要做某事 The children can’t wait to open the gift.
