5. Language and Cultural Influence on English Teaching.

5.1 Language and Cultural Difference to English Teaching's Influence

Cultural differences as part of language differences reflect the nature of cultural difference. In English teaching, teachers help students understand cultural differences in the nature of the correct understanding of Chinese language differences, to train students in cross-cultural communication ability. In actual teaching, cultural awareness training students there are still many limitations, the need for continued attention and improvement. Language is the carrier of culture, and culture plays a vital role. Language and cultural interaction, interaction, language and culture cannot be divorced from there. Therefore, to be followed in English language teaching and cultural comparison of the principle of combining teaching English in the teaching process, teachers should continue to enhance the cultural differences of students and the relatively tolerant of cultural differences, expand international perspective. To make students aware of different languages not only in voice, vocabulary, grammar, and so there is a difference, but also in communication rules are quite different. During the study, the use of foreign languages, to train students with cultural awareness and understanding of the culture behind the language contained. If people in exchange for some time by the refraction of the word culture completely unknown, ignored their differences, then the exchange will be hindered cultural differences. Teachers are not limited to materials, but should best use of the situation, the appropriate development of the cultural differences of origin in order to explain the difference between the origins of the phenomenon.

Cultural awareness training students in the process of the teachers understanding of the importance of cultural awareness is very important. Teaching in practice, most teachers are not deeply aware of training students of the importance of cultural awareness, but also in their own teaching concept are also biased in favor of the principle of practical examinations. As for training students in the cultural awareness, train students in cross-cultural communication abilities, the relatively weak. 5.2 Language and Cultural Background to English Teaching's Influence

First, cultural background differences have great impact on English teaching practice for a long time. In our English language teaching in practice, due to the impact of traditional teaching methods, emphasis on form and meaning, and less involved in cultural background knowledge of education, language and culture. The close relationship has never been enough attached. It seems to think that as long as to master the voice, tone, vocabulary and grammar rules will be able to understand English and communication in English, while making students master basic knowledge of the language well, but in a specific context communication, because they often do not understand cultural differences in background, they can not find the suitable word, inappropriate language, or even ambiguity and misunderstanding.

Conclusion

The relationship between language and culture is really close. As long as teachers pay attention to guiding students to learn language material, aim at enhancing language using ability and training communication, language and cultural relationship will be reflected in English teaching.
