will come. 注意:if有“是否”的意思,也有“如果”的意思;但whether只有“是否”的意思。 3.What, which, who, whose, whom等连接代词,在从句中做一定的成分,如主语、宾语、定语等。 例如:Please tell me who/ whom we have to see. 4.When (指时间)、where(指地点)、why(指原因)、how(表方式)等连接副词,在从句中做状语。 例如:Do you know where he lives? 【状元典例】 写出下列宾语从句: 1. The earth goes around the sun.(I know…) 2. The clouds will lift later on.(The radio says…) 3.Are you happy? ( I want to know…) 4.Shall we go? ( Please tell me…) 5. When will we have dinner? (I don’t know…) 6.Where is he? ( Can you tell me…) 三、注意点 1.避免重复出现连接代词或连接副词; 『例』I can’t see that what is over there.(应去掉that) 2.从句中的语序为陈述语序; 『例』Do you know how old is she? (应改为:?how old she is) 3.从句中的时态与主句时态前后呼应。 『例』She didn’t tell me when she will come. (应改为:?when she would come) 三、由连接代词和连接副词引导的宾语从句可用疑问代词和疑问副词+动词不定式替代,进行句型上的转换。 Could you tell me how I can get to the post office? = Could you tell mehow to getto the post office? 四、宾语从句的时态 1.主句中谓语动词是现在的时态(包括一般现在时、现在进行时、现在完成时),从句中谓语动词的时态不受限制,可根据具体情况选用适当的时态; 2.主句谓语动词是过去的时态(包括一般过去时、过去进行时),从句中也必须要用某种过去时态(包括一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时、过去完成时),以保持时态的前后呼应。 3.特别要注意的是当宾语从句表示的是客观真理、科学原理、自然现象、名言时,则用一般现在时,不受主句时态的限制。 『例』1). 五、宾语从句的连接 1.当宾语从句是陈述句时, 用that引导。例如:They were good doctors. He told us. = He told us that they were good doctors. 2.当宾语从句是一般疑问句时, 构成宾语从句用whether / if连接,句尾的标点取决于主句,但语序要用陈述语序。例如:Are you a student? He asks me. = He asks me if / whether I am a student. 3.当宾语从句是特殊疑问句时, 连接词就用原来的疑问词,但一定要注意用陈述语序。 例如:When did he buy this new bike? Could you tell me? = Could you tell me when he bought this new bike? 二、难点聚焦 1. 当主句的谓语动词是ask时,连词不能用that;当主句的谓语动词是say时,连词用that 【例句】 1. She says ( that) she will leave a message on his desk. 2. He says ( that) he is going to take care of the child. 3. He asks if/whether I like playing the piano. 【状元典例】 He asked me _______ I could sing the song “My Heart will Go On.” A. if B. how C. what D. that 思路分析:此句横线处应选填含有疑问意思的关系代词,故可先排除D。 2. whether和if 在大部分情况下是可以互换的,但是有些时候只能用 whether,不能用if They asked me whether to go skating. (3)当与or not连用,或提出两种选择(意为“是??还是??”)时: 【例句】 I don’t know whether he’s free or not. Mary asked whether I was doing my homework or not. Tell me whether you’d like to go shopping or tidy the room. 用if 和whether填空。 1. I asked her __________ she had a bike. 2. We’re worried about ________ he is safe. 3. I wonder ___________ he is well. 4. I don’t know ________ or not he is well. 5. I don’t know _______ to go.
