A brief introduction about yourself will be appreciated .What’s your name ? Where are from ? Today’s topic is Mother’s day. The first 45 minutes you are going to explain What is Mother’s day ? We have a PPT for this. Show students your family photos; tell them a fun short story about yourself and your mother. Then present some new words related to this activity. The next 45 minutes we are going to make some cards with the kid for their mother. We have some samples, show students how to use different tools and make cards with them. After they finished their cards you can take a photo with them.) Period 1 14:50-15:35 1. Greetings : (in 10 minutes) Hello. I’m _________. What’s your name ? How are you ? How old are you? (Introduce yourself to students and parents.) ...

2. Warm up (in 3 minutes) Commands: Listen and do actions

(If there are too many people you can pass the warm up part.)

stand up/ sit down/ jump / hop / fly / swim / go to sleep / wake up / line up / make a circle / sing / walk / run / open / close /point to/ touch / listen / look at the board / sing…

3. Activity 1- PPT for Mother’s day (in 10 minutes) What is Mother’s day ? When is Mother’s day ?

What we do on Mother’s day ? Show kids and parents the PPT, maybe some of the sentences are too hard for these kids, make them simple, and make sure they understand what you say. The whole point of the PPT is to show kids Mother’s Day is a special day and kids should do something for their mothers.

4.Activity 2- Listen to a story (in 5 minutes ) Tell kids and parents a story about you and your mother. What did you do for your mother on Mother’s Day when you were a kid ?

5. Activity3 – Presentation (in 20 minutes) Present tape/card/craft punch/inkpad/scissors/seal/carnation

Show kids the sample cards. Tell them we are going to make some cards for their mothers. Then present the words and tools and show them how to use these tools.

Period 2 15:45-16:30

6. Activity 4- Make cards (in 30 minutes) Divide kid and parents into groups. Each group can take one or two sample cards. Give them the tools they need. Use “Here you are .” and “Thank you .” 7. Activity 5 – Write sentences on the cards (in 10 minutes) Teach kids write some thankful sentences on the cards. 8.Activity 6 – Take photos with each family (in 5 minutes)
