The exhibition of Chinese folk arts and crafts is now on at the Capital Museum and will last until April 30th with free admission. Artists from all over the country bring their masterpieces: Nianhua paintings from Tianjin, kites from Weifang, paper-cuts from Shanxi, and so on.
I strongly suggest you visit this exhibition, for it will totally immerse you in Chinese culture. You will have a great chance to watch the artists create their works up close. Moreover, there is even a hands-on area for you to make your own art.

Last week, my classmates and I participated in an activity themed on Joint Battles against COID-19 which was organized by our districts, aiming to help citizens to fight with the COVID-19(coronavirus) pandemic.
We received a notice in our WeChat group chat on Monday morning. Then we had a heated discussion about what our topic should be for this entry. After a while, we chose Heroes in the War against COVID -19 as our topic.
Divided into three different groups, we swiftly submerged ourselves into preparation. Every group worked so hard and each one in the team also performed their own functions, including collecting available information from the Internet, TV programs, radio and other social media. With the collection done, we started to classify and prepare the material in full swing起劲地. All preparation was to the final work.
It was the time to combine the first group’s material together. Then the third group began to create the poster with the poem and the prose from group one and the publicizing picture宣传的图画 from group two. With our joint efforts, an attractive poster came out. It was of great excitement to see our perfect-look entry.
The final step was to submit our entry on WeChat via a WeChat program. What a pride that was! To memorize the exciting moment, we posted a selfie with our poster on Moments and as expected, this post received a number of likes.
