Our Neighbor Jimmy has been a postman for the last ten year. He loves to talk to his wife in the evenings about the people he delivers to. He tells her about Mrs. Mannes, the little old lady at number 24, who is always very unfriendly when he delivers her post. She has a son in Australia and a daughter in France so she often gets post.
But one day when jimmy rings the bell with a parcel for Mrs. Mannes from her daughter, there is no answer. The doctor says that she had had a heart attack and if she had come to hospital any later she would not have survived.
