一、教学内容：人教版高二必修5第五模块 阅读课 二、教学背景: 1.面向高二学生 2、1课时： 3、学生课前准备：a、预习单词，掌握重点短语。 b、自学课文，了解文章大意。 c、利用网络资源搜索关于生活中各种意外事故的急救措施 d. 标明预习遇到的问题 三、学生分析： 授课对象为普通高中高二级学生，大部份学生学习态度认真，思维活跃，乐于表现自我，敢于提出不同见解，能较好地展开小组话题讨论，。因而宜采取多媒体教学，设置贴近生活、学生较感兴趣的话题来激发学生交流和学习的兴趣，使学生始终处于积极、主动的思考、探究的状态中，创造充满活力的课堂气氛，同时有利于培养学生合作学习的意识。 四、教材分析: 本课是高二必修5第五模块里的一篇阅读课《First Aid for Burns》，课文首先陈述皮肤对人体的重要性，然后介绍烧伤的各种起因、三种不同的烧伤程度以及它们所表现出的主要症状和所应采取的急救措施。文章脉络明晰，阅读时可以充分发挥小标题的作用。 五、教学目标: 1.知识目标： 1）掌握重要单词skin, organ, barrier, poison, ray, complex, variety, liquid, radiation, mild, mildly pan, stove, tissue, swell, swollen, scissors, unbearable, basin, squeeze, bandage, vital, symptom, kettle等，掌握重要短语first aid, fall ill, electric shock, squeeze out, over and over again, in place等； 2）详细掌握文章内容； 教育部参赛
3）掌握一些日常生活中意外事故的急救措施 2、能力目标： 1）让学生借助文章中的小标题和其后的关键词，理清文章的脉络，掌握阅读技能； 2）创设特定的情景来提高学生的口头语言表达能力 3．情感目标 引导学生要掌握一定正确急救措施的重要性并提高学生珍惜生命的意识 六、教学方法: 本堂课采用任务型教学途径，以应用为动力，以应用为目的，以应用为核心的教学途径。学生带着任务学习，在完成任务的过程中逐渐输入知识，掌握技能。 七、教学手段：借助于信息技术手段制做CAI课件进行辅助教学。 八、教学过程： Step 1. Organization Step 2. Lead-in 1) One student acts out some accidents in the life and others try to guess what the accidents are. (For example, sprained ankle, nosebleed, choking etc.) 2) Ask the students to pay attention to the importance of the first aid 【设计意图】以一学生诙谐幽默的表演让同学们了解生活中几种常见意外事故的英文表达法，自然地引入新课，营造轻松的学习氛围并调动同学们学习的兴趣 Step 3. Fast reading Read the passage quickly and answer the following questions: 1) What is the passage about? First aid for burns. 2) What do they tell you about the passage? Causes, types, characteristics and first aid treatment for burns. 【设计意图】略读文章，培养学生对文章大意的把握能力，让学生对文章的内容做出正确的判断，为进一步了解课文作好铺垫 3) In which order are these topics covered in the text? Number them in the right order. ____ the three types of burns ____ what to do if someone gets burned ____ the functions(功能） of skin ____ the symptoms(症状) of burns ____ how we get burns 【设计意图】通过排序的阅读任务，培养学生在阅读过程中通过学习抓关键词来捕捉主要信息的能力，并通过排序理解行文线索教育部参赛
和各个主要内容之间的内在联系 Step 4 Careful reading Part 1. Read Part 1 carefully and find out the function of the skin. 1) Act as a barrier against disease, poisons and the sun’s harmful rays; 2) Keep you warm or cool; 3) Prevent your body from losing to much water; 4) You can feel cool, heat or pain; 5) Give you sense of touch 【设计意图】帮助学生理解人体皮肤的功能，培养学生寻找文中有用信息的阅读能力 Part 2. Read Part 2 carefully and pick out the pictures describing the causes of the burns. 【设计意图】帮助学生理解生活中导致烧伤的主要原因 Part 3 & Part 4. 1) Read Part 3 and Part 4 carefully. Show the students a picture of the skin and analyze the lays of the skin. 2) Label the pictures with first degree burn, second degree burn and third degree burn. Ask some students to describe the type and the characteristics of burns 【设计意图】通过“贴标签”活动，让学生更好地理解三种不同的烧伤程度，并且在图片的帮助下，鼓励学生开口描述，加深对文章内容的理解 Part 5 Read Part 5 carefully. Show the students some pictures and decide whether they are right or wrong in the first aid treatment of the burns. 【设计意图】根据图片选择正确的烧伤急救措施，并引导学生用自己的话进行判断，训练学生的口头语言表达能力 教育部参赛
Step 5. Watch a video （内容是关于烧伤后如何急救的宣传片Flash） 【设计意图】通过视频片断的观看，把以上学习到的烧伤急救措施连贯地整合到一起，为以下的小组活动做好铺垫 Step 6. Group work Divide the whole class into several groups. Give each group of the students a doll and show to the classmates how to give first aid to the doll if it gets burned. 【设计意图】让学生以小组为单位进行讨论与合作，培养学生实际运用知识能力及语言智能，锻炼学生的口头语言组织能力，培养学生的人际关系智能 Step 7. Writing Write a short composition about what to do in a fire. 【写作内容】 以下是有关火灾时的逃生要领： 1．及时拔打119告诉消防员起火的详细地址，如果有严重受伤人员还应该马上拔打120请求救援。 2．保持冷静并迅速地找到逃生出口； 3. 从楼梯下楼，不要使用电梯。 4．如果大门发烫或发现门下有烟冒出，千万不能把门打开。 5．无法自行逃出时，要站在打开的窗户旁边大声呼喊求助。尽量用湿毛巾捂住嘴巴。 【设计意图】让学生了解日常生活中另一个常见意外事故——火灾的急救措施，并把内容设计成广东省高考试题写作题型——基础写作，进一步训练学生的写作能力 Step 8 Conclusion This passage doesn’t contain enough information for you to do first aid for others. Please learn more after class. Do remember: Life is precious, we should care about others and help people in an emergency and try our best to give them effective first aid if they are in danger. 【设计意图】强调本节课的教学目的，升华学生的情感 Step 9. Homework 1. Finish the writing. 2. Find out some useful language points in the passage. 3. Search the Internet to find more information about first aid: http://www.healthy.net/clinic/first aid/ http://kids health.org/parent/first aid_safe/ 【设计意图】布置多样化的作业，促进学生运用多元智能，培养了学生信息收集的能力。 九、教学反思 本节课在兼顾知识性、趣味性、思想性的阅读课教学中精心设计既有启发性又能激起学生探讨兴趣的系列问题，可以启迪学生动脑，激发学生思维，培养学生主动学习的习惯。教师设计问题时，能紧扣教材,层层推进,要具有一定的思想梯度。在提问、解答的过程中,教师能启发引导,以激活学生的思教育部参赛
维欲望,帮助学生认知和理解。教师能妥善引导，充分尊重学生的人格,充分发挥教学民主，尽最大的努力最大限度地引导学生参与到探索知识的过程中去，能给学生留下足够的参与时间和空间。 能创造良好的参与条件,提供合适的参与机会,组织学生独立思考与集体讨论。 不足的是在小组活动中仍然有小部分同学未能积极参与，在知识的拓展方面也要加强。
