Note: look forward to +名词/代词/doing 的意思是“期待，盼望”。如： I’m really looking forward to our holiday. They’re looking forward to seeing the film.
2. 课文原句：…so that Kylie could play this piece of music on her own. Note: so that 可以引导一个状语从句，表目的，意思是“为的是……;目的是……”如： I got up early so that I could catch the first bus.
You should work harder so that you can pass the exam next time. He put his glasses on so that he could see the television better. She worked all summer so that she could save enough money for a holiday. On one’s own 表示“独立地，单独地；独自地”。如： I made this bookshelf all on my own. She’s been living on her own for ten years. I like living all on my own (= alone).

Note: without 在该句中为介词，意思是“没……”,后面如果接动词，动词则要用－ing形式。如：

语法：状语从句（2）
1.原因状语从句：表示行为的原因的从句，就是原因状语从句。常由 “because”引导。例如：
I didn't go, because I was afraid.
He came to work late because he got up late.

2．目的状语从句：表示行为的目的的从句，就是目的状语从句。常由 连词“so that”引导。例如：
I’ll run slowly so that you can catch up with me. 我将慢慢跑以至你能赶上我。
I opened the window so that fresh air might come in. 我把窗户打开以使新鲜空气可以进来。
3．结果状语从句：表示行为的结果的从句，就是结果状语从句。常由 “so, so…that”(这样……以致) 引导。例如：
The boy is so young that he can't go to school.
The weather is so nice that I’d like to take a walk. 天气是如此只好,以至于我想去散散步.
