摘要
人口膨胀是指某个国家或地区的人口在短时间之内迅速增长而生产总值没有提高或提高很少。人口膨胀会给社会经济带来负面影响。
大约在100万年前，人类的祖先诞生。数千年前，出现了古埃及、古巴比伦、中国等文明古国。380年前，伽利略提出地圆学说和地球围绕太阳公转的思想，哥伦布、麦哲伦等人进行环球旅行，西班牙、荷兰、英国等向世界各地发展自己的殖民地。 大约200年前，产业革命爆发，人类发明了各种机器，诞生了工业。正是由这一时期开始，人口数量剧增。距今400多年前的日本江户幕府建立初期，世界人口大约为4亿左右，而1990年约为52亿人，据报道，到2050年，全球人口数目将从现在的65亿人上升到90亿人，然而根据罗马尼亚布加勒斯特工艺大学科学家维奥里尔?巴迪司库博士的研究，90亿的人口远远没有抵达地球可以承受的人口极限。巴迪司库博士在下月即将出版的《全球能量问题国际期刊》杂志上宣称，根据他的计算，地球最终可以承受的人口数量，将是现在的20万倍！
