Celine Dion began singing in her parents' piano bar when she was just five years old.At the age of 12，she wrote one of her first songs.It was Only a Dream.She recorded it with the help of her mother and brother and sent it to a manager named Angelil.Angelil found out the tape and called the family back on the same day.When the 12-year-old girl sang in his office，Angelil was greatly impressed(印象深刻).He paid her first two albums.They both sold well.In 1983，Dion became the first Canadian to have a best-selling record in France.
