Get the students to read the passage again and complete the sentences of 2c with words from the passage.
Step 6 New words
Show some pictures and some sentences to explain and help the students to learn the new words. Then get them to read and remember the new words.
Step 7 Video
Show a short video of the students in poor area of China and get some students to say their feelings. Then tell the students to treasure the happy life and study hard to construct a stronger and more beautiful country.
Step 8 Reading and filling
3a Show the words and the e-mail on the screen and get the students to fill in the blanks. Then ask them to read the e-mail aloud. Finally ask some individual students to read it.
Step 9 Writing
3b Ask the students to write an e-mail to Tom and tell him how you get to school. Remind them to use the questions to help them. After writing, ask some students to report their e-mail.
