Some people like sports while others not in our life. Recently, our school
had a survey about whether the school should hold a sports meeting or not. Different
students express different opinions.
70% of the students think sport is good for them. First of all, sport helps
make them strong, keeping them healthy. It also helps develop students’ ability to work with each other. What’s more, students can learn to deal with success and failure through competition in the sports meeting, and it also can encourage them a lot in their studies.
However, 30% of them disagree. They think that sport is not the only way to
keep healthy. What’s worse, some of them might get hurt in the sports meeting. Besides, taking part in the sports meeting, they think, may have a bad effect on their studies.
In my opinion, it’s a good choice to hold a sports meeting. For one thing,
we can develop team spirit in sports and games. For another, it’s a good way of relaxing ourselves, making our school life colorful.
