1. Make conversatios by using: What’s this in English? It’s a/an ... What color is it? It’s ... Teacher is ready to offer his/her help to those students who are in need of it.

2. Ask some demonstration groups to show their dialogues before the whole class. (Encourage them to finish this task by using the things in their classroom.)

Step 5: 4a-4b

In order to let the studnets be in a good mood, the teacher plays the tape and asks the students to sing the alphabet song. When the classroom has a relaxing atmosphere, ask the students to finish the task in 4a.

While the students are doing, the teacher goes around the classroom to check what they are doing.

Step 5: 4c-4d

Have the students sing the song A, E, I, O, U. Then ask the students to read the contents in 4c.

Get several groups to read.

T: We have known many articles. Now let’s look at the picture in our book. Write words for the things in the picture.

Ss: (Write the words for the things in the picture.) T: Ok! Well done! Step 3: Listening

1. T: Can you remember the following names?(Show some pictures on the screen.) Let’s find the answer together. Read the names after me.

T: (Ask several students to read the names aloud and if there is some mistakes, ask other students to correct.)

本节课设计的主要是听和说,但由于比较贴合学生的实际,而且也是学生较为感兴趣的话题,因此他们在富有情趣的交际中愉快主动地接受信息、加工信息、交流信息,所以本节课的目标在愉悦的课堂气氛中得到落实和巩固。本节课一个较难处理的是把对话应用到实际中来。
