2. 预习新单词:听录音机,模仿跟读新单词和字母。 教学过程

Step 1: Greetings

Greet the students as usual. Step 2: New words

1. Hang the white paper on the blackboard, write the capital letter A with a red pen, then ask the students:

T: What’s this in English? Ss: It’s an A. T: What color is it?

The teacher answers herself/himself: It’s red.

2. The teacher teaches the other colors with the color pens, repeat these words until students grasp them.

3. Do the same steps of the letters list on l a as the teacher did in the introduction. Make sure students know all these letters and words and write the letters for each color.

Step 3: Practice 1b-1c

1. Get the students to listen to the the tape and read after the tape.

2. Get the students to work in pairs, practice the dialogue appear in the picture of 1a.

Allow the students to use the other things instead of the letters while they are asking the colors.

3. Ask two pairs to go to the blackboard to act the dialogues out before the whole class.

Step4: 2a-2d

1. Play the tape for the students and ask the students to read after the tape. 2. Then finish the task of 2b

3. Then ask all the students to read the letters aloud.

4. Do the task of 2c Ask one student to the blackboard to write the letters. Give them praise.

5. Work on 2d Write the small letters (or big letters) for big letters (small letters). While the students are doing the tasks, the teacher goes around the classroom to check what they are doing.

Step 5: 2a-2e

Ask the students to talk about the special letters. A few minutes later, the teacher gets three students to say the meanings of these letters.

Step 6: Homework

Copy the letters from Ss-Zz.

Make colorful letter cards of Ss-Zz. Remember the new words. 课堂作业

Step1: Greetings

Greet the students as usual. Step2: Warming up

1. Sing a song: Morning Song.

2. Ask the students to sing to the music

T: Good morning, boys and girls.Nice to see you. Ss: Nice to see you, too. Step3: Work on 3a-3c

3a Let the students look at the pictures and the teacher asks:What is this in English? Ss: (Answer together.)

T: Now let’s listen to the tape and color the things. If they can’t get the answer, play the tape again.

3b: Check the answers.

Then ask three students to read the sentences aloud. Get the whole class to read aloud. 3c: Listening

Get the students to listen to the tape and complete the chart in 3c.

In order to get all the students to get the answer, the teacher plays the tape twice. Let two students go to the blackboard to show their answers. Check the answers. Step 4: 3d
