?九、比较状语从句的译法?英语中引导比较状语从句的连词有：as…as（像……一样……），not so (as) …as…（不像……那样……）， more…than…（……比……）， no more than（并不比……）， not more … than…（不辱，比不上）， the more…the more…（越……越……），等。英语的比较状语从句经常是省略句，即从句往往只留与主句进行比较的部分，译者必须了解这个特点。
?翻译比较状语从句一般采用顺译法，即按句子顺序翻译。但是汉语中表达比较的方式更加丰富，所以翻译比较状语从句时，译者须根据具体情况用汉语习惯的表达方式来体现比较的含义。如：
?Neptune, Jupiter and Saturn all generate more heat than they receive from the sun.?海王星、木星和土星发出的热量都比它们从太阳那里得到的热量多。
?The fuel consumption of the blast furnace is lower than the one of smelting reduction processes.?高炉的燃料消耗要低于熔融还原法的燃料消耗。
